Praia Fluvial da Ferradosa is located in the Ferradosa Park, in São João da Pesqueira, on the banks of the Douro river, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. Framed by schist cliffs and terraced vineyards characteristic of the Douro landscape, the beach is part of a leisure park featuring two hexagonal floating pools — one for adults and one for children —, a riverside bar with terrace, a picnic area, toilets and showers. The surroundings support nautical sports including canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, making Ferradosa one of the most appealing stops for wine and nature tourism along the Douro.
