Vieira Beach is located in the parish of Vieira de Leiria, in the Marinha Grande municipality, Leiria district, stretching some 4 kilometres of golden sand along the Atlantic Costa de Prata. With regular swell and favourable wind, it is an established destination for surfing and bodyboarding, with several active schools during the bathing season. The picturesque fishing village of Vieira de Leiria and its traditional local boats lend the place an authentic maritime character. It holds the Blue Flag and offers complete beach support services throughout the summer.
