Cabedelo do Douro Beach is in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the south bank of the Douro mouth, opposite Porto’s Foz. It is a maritime sand beach on the estuary sandbank, with views to Porto.
There is no permanent lifeguard; estuary currents demand care. Occasional naturism is only informal. Distinct from Cabedelo beaches in Viana do Castelo and Figueira da Foz.
