About this beach
Praia Fluvial de Friestas is located in the parish of the same name in the municipality of Valença, near the confluence of the river Minho with a local tributary. It is a simple, little-visited bathing area with few support facilities, set in a typical rural landscape of the Alto Minho, close to the border with Galiza.
