Vagueira Beach lies in the village of Vagueira, in the parish of Gafanha da Boa Hora, municipality of Vagos, in Aveiro district, on Portugal's Costa de Prata. It is the most popular beach in the municipality, with a wide sandy area and a seafront promenade lined with restaurants, terraces and shops.
It is one of the beaches that still practices Arte Xávega, the traditional fishing method in which fishermen haul nets ashore with the help of oxen or tractors. Vagueira Beach has held the Blue Flag continuously since 1989 and also carries the Accessible Beach award, retaining its Blue Flag status for the 2026 bathing season, awarded by ABAAE.
