About this beach
Viana do Castelo North Beach is one of the longest and most beautiful beaches on the Green Coast, with over 5 km of fine dark sand (granite-origin) typical of northern Portugal. Located directly opposite the historic city of Viana do Castelo, it offers a unique panorama over the Lima estuary. Excellent conditions for surfing and kitesurfing. Near Afife Beach.
